Richard stared at Gaby reproachfully, but she, with her arms wide open, tried to stop him from passing.

"Jayden!" she exclaimed, and instantly, Gaby was grabbed by the waist and pulled away from Richard's path.

"What are you doing?" Gaby protested when Jayden released her abruptly.

"You should know better than to meddle in other people's relationships," he commented indifferently, while Richard followed after Elizabeth; however, she had already vanished. He had no idea where she had gone, but he knew she hadn't left the campus.
