Narrow escape
Matt is confused. He looked at his sister and brother in law with puzzlement.
'What is wrong with him? I thought he might get upset that Eva spilt the drink he sent for her with love. But instead, he is looking releaved that she spilt it. What happened?' he contemplated in his head.
"What happened?" he inquired after a few minutes.
Damien loosened his hold on Eva but didn't let her go completely. He kept her close. He is scared for her life. After he found out that Mia wanted to hurt his angel, he doesn't want to take any chances.
"That drink is poisoned" he revealed, earning a gasp of shock from Eva and a concerned frown from Matt.
Damien looked around the living area to see if he can find anyone or anything suspicious. He is satisfied that he found none.
"What? It is poisoned? By who?" Matt voiced out the question which is plaguing Eva's mind as well.
