A friend

After two days, on one fine Saturday morning, Liam knocked on Aria's door. Aria was still sleeping, as it was the weekend. It was still early.

The ringing of the doorbell woke up Aria. It's still 8 in the morning and she was not planning to wake up so soon.

Aria moved the blanket off her body and walked towards the main door and opened her door, expecting Adam or Claire.

She was shocked to see Liam standing there. She tugged at her shorts and Adams's oversized t-shirt.

"Hey," he greeted with an easy smile.

"Oh, hey," Aria said awkwardly.

Liam smiled at her with amusement.

"Can I come inside?" he asked when she stood there in silence without inviting him in.

Aria realized her mistake and stepped aside to let him in.

"Please, come inside," she said.

She looks flustered.

Her hair is a mess, standing in every direction. Her eyes are still filled with sleep.

Liam stepped inside and looked around her small apartment.<
