Ex lover

Slowly Aria began to relax at the party. She smiled and nodded politely, whenever someone started showing interest in talking with her, she started to nod and engage in small talk.

Aiden would always be somewhere close by. After half an hour into the party, Aria was talking to a kind old lady, who was telling her about her engagement days. 

"My fiance was so attentive and charming, I fell in love with him even before our marriage. He was a good man. He was a good husband and a good father. So sad, I lost him sooner than I thought" she said sadly. 

"Oh, I am sorry Mrs. Simmons. It's really sad to hear that" Aria said sympathetically.

Mrs. Simmons smiled at Aria.

"It was a long time ago. Did you see that groom over there?" the kind old lady pointed towards the Dias.

Aria followed her gaze and noticed the groom clearly for the first time.

That man is smiling and seems to be jovial. He looks handsome in a boy next door kind of away.
