Chapter 11

Toby went back to the car and related everything to James. He instructed Toby to take them to an eligible hotel close by so they could spend the night. He has the intention of checking back the next day. Toby agreed and drove their vehicle to the Upper East where a decent hotel could be found.

The next day, James and his men went back to Catherine's place, unfortunately, she was not yet back. They waited till dusk and she was not back. James left the slum heartbroken.

"Mira, I am very grateful for your help, thank you so much," Catherine said to Mira who was seeing her off.

"You don't know how glad I was when I saw you two days ago. I thought I would never see you again. Thank God that you are still alive. Claudia told us all sorts of lies about you. She said you went to study in your aunt's place in Canada." Mira said and started wiping out the tears in her eyes.
