Ava's pov

Lydia is a big softie and after the incident where Cane order them to take me to the dungeon for days she hasn't really been talking to him or acknowledging him in general so he thinks she is still mad at him. I am very sure that she is way over that she was just looking out for her friend.

“Are you sure? I know she is a softie but with how she reacted I feel like she hate my guts”

“She doesn't trust me she just didn't like what you did to me” I told him. He took my hands into his own and looked at my eyes.

“She is a good friend you know that right?

“Yea I know” I smiled.

“I like your hair when it's down, it looks better this way” he tugged some of my hair that was covering my face to the back of my ear.

I was surprised because I wasn't expecting that from him. I like this Cane he is not rude or angry I hope it stays this way for a long time or am I going to sound selfish if I say forever? It seems like from now on I am going to leave my hair down everyday.
