I shivered when I saw Alexander clench his fist around the neck of Nikolai, whom I was surprised to have come here, not knowing how he knew my way in the first place ?!

But what surprises me is the extreme coldness with which Nikolai treats Alexander, and who knows more about his abilities? He's my best friend.

I shouted at Alexander, "Alex, he's going to die in your hands. For God's sake, let's know what brought him here."

Alexander snarled, refusing, and told me from between his lips, "Do you think I'm an idiot, and I'm going to believe this silly play by the two of you?! And you,?! Do you think I will make your betrayal go unpunished?! Nikolai sarcastically said, "Oh God, Sophia!! Who is this who will die at his hands, my little one?! He will think that I am a weak opponent, girl. Does this satisfy you?!"

My eyes turned in shock, and I roared sharply at him, "Is this a good time to joke, Nikolai?! You will get us into trouble."
