Chapter 38: Questioning

Olwen tried not to look surprised by Rosa's lofty but meaningless reasoning. According to Olwen, Xavla's business has nothing to do with her. Olwen then gently moved on, hoping that Rosa would stop putting the blame on her for no reason. At the same time, Olwen also wished for something invisible to influence Rosa's mind, so that Rosa would become a little more understanding. Even though Rosa herself had no understanding at all.

"Is Xavla's hand seriously injured? Have you taken her to the hospital for a checkup?" Olwen's voice asked with concern.

"Don't pretend to be kind. What you say is disgusting, and irresponsible, as if it was not your fault that Xavla was injured. Remember for me, you are not an angel that brings peace or love. " Mrs. Rosa used harsh words to insult Olwen.

"The truth is I wasn't the one who hurt Xavla." Olwen argues: "Besides, I've never seen or appreciated myself so much. So don't exaggerate your deductions too much."

"What did you just say?" Mrs. Rosa growled
