Chapter 51: I'm against the wedding

"Your thoughts are very good. I am very satisfied." Mr. Kent put it through: "I'm glad you understand the difficult situation, which you will have to go through if you do against my will."

Olwen clicked her tongue, pretending she hadn't heard Mr. Kent's sarcastic compliment.

"It's about time." Olwen exasperatedly reminded: "You don't want to be late, do you?"

"That's right. We should go to the wedding venue." Mr. Kent said: "But before that, you should fix your mind. Your face is scowling, annoyed, not like a bride going to her husband's house."

"You want me to smile brightly when in reality my heart is wilting?" Olwen asked exasperatedly, "Please don't be too demanding. I can't afford to indulge everything you want."

"If you can't smile." Mr. Kent changed the request: "At least you can pretend to behave normally. Don't give rumors a chance."

Not wanting to argue further, Olwen reluctantly accepts:

"Fine. I'll do my best."

Mr. Kent then held out his hand, allowing Olwen to take it. Ol
