Chapter 61 – Danger to the mother and child.

The fear washing over me, both my wife and child’s lives are probably in danger, I remember the article of the number of death during childbirth.

I can’t lose her, not like this, not when we just gotten happier, “hang in there okay,” I tell her.

We arrive at the hospital in the nick of time, Dr Martin has already has nurses ready to take my wife.

“We will take it from here,” he says, wheeling her into the emergency room.

They take an hour and a half, I cannot stop ping, the uncertainty of my wife’s life makes me really anxious and somewhat angry.

‘Can’t we have a happy life,” I cursed my luck, it seems each time we are happy a misfortune is thrown our way.

“Mr. Beckett,” Dr Martin says coming out of the room.

‘How are they?”

“I am afraid I have some bad news; we are going to have to remove the baby through C-section,” he says.

“What?” I shout, “it is not her due date yet.”

“Yes, it seems both the mother and child we are going to need to take the baby out, it w
