When we got home, everyone was happy. Of course we were happy too.

The happiest was me and it was like I was glued to Mason because I didn't want to leave his side.

If you were me and you saw how much he had been beaten and was bleeding and all, you would do it too.

For a moment there I thought that I would lose him.

It was a miracle that my heart remained in my body.

The first thing we did after making sure that Tessa was comfortable and that she had maids and warriors watching over her, we went to have a meeting with my dad.
