I got my small duffel bag out of Dwayne's car and gave Jayden an excited look. We went to his BMW and he opened the trunk while Dwayne and Debby got in the back. "What have you got with you? A second outfit?” He grinned, put my bag inside and closed the trunk again.

I spoke very quietly, but Jayden understood every word. "No, I thought it would be late today, ... and that I'll be with you..." He took my hand, kissed it and I didn't manage to finish my sentence.

"Yes, ... that would be nice!" He took me to his passenger door and held it open for me to get in. The dress was floor-length and I had to make sure that everything was in the car and that I didn't pinch anything.

While driving, Jayden just held my hand except when he needed to shift gears, but he really wanted to be near me. He also smiled at me the whole time and then I smiled back.
