How could she say that?

It made me question if Diamond was really her daughter. Of course I knew she was, but still.

A mother who doesn’t have her daughter’s best interest at heart?

It was beyond appalling that she could even utter such words. I was stunned that Diamond’s mother could ask for such a thing from me to her daughter.
