Chapter 48: She Was Different

Curtis still stood next to him, waiting for his answer. Lendon was so mad that he hated to see people around him now. 

“My Lord, please. Don’t hurt yourself. If the palace knows you’re being hurt, they will make it a big issue,” Curtis continued to beg.

“Get out! Leave me alone,” Lendon shouted and suddenly rushed to Curtis. He punched Curtis directly.

Curtis avoided Lendon’s attack swiftly. If he was a second slower, he needed to go to the hospital by now. Curtis was adequately trained to protect Lendon from any harm, so martial art was part of his skills since he came to serve him. 

“Get out!’ Lendon growled, annoyed that Curtis was able to dodge his attack.
