I sat across from Aiden, staring at him with a feeling of joy. After our classes today, he asked me out to dinner. I asked him about Ella, considering the fact that he had earlier convinced me she wasn't such a bad person.

I noticed that she had missed some of her classes, which was unlike her, and he told me she wasn't feeling too well. I thought about getting her number to call and check up on her but realized we weren't at that stage yet. I just wished her well instead.
