Skye looked more shocked. She shook her head at us. "But... I saw her drop this. How could it have all the pages?“ She asked, not realizing that she was exposing herself.

A smile appeared on my face as she looked at Xin. He sighed and looked at Skye. “You saw her drop it, but you couldn't tell her about it?“ He asked, his voice a little cold.

Skye looked terrified for a second. Then she hurriedly shook her head. “Um… I thought she did it intentionally. You know how she is,” she said, sweat forming on her forehead.

Xin just stared at her, not saying anything else. And she must have felt uneasy. "I have something to do. Please excuse me,” she said and ran off.

I chuckled a little at her behaviour. But just when I looked up, I met Xin's eyes. He was looking at me coldly, like I had committed the mistake of my life.
