Chapter 17: Hectic Day

They both had malevolent feelings toward each other. Alyona hated his arrogance and rude attitude, while Alexander wanted to dominate her and show her how much he hated a woman like her who doesn’t work hard but seeks attention.

Alexander never saw a caring or nurturing figure in his life. He saw his stepmother throwing him out of her room and caring for his younger brother. The next woman he thought would love her was her teenage love, who left him for another boy. For his whole life, he suffered the hatred of the woman in his life. And today, all that hatred surfaced in his heart whenever he saw the woman who tried to correct him. It was a stupid thing for Alyona, but he took it seriously.

As they entered his office, he gave her tons of paperwork.

“I want you to update all these figures on the Excel sheet. Second, fix my meetings according to my schedule. And I wanted you to be available in my next meeting to jot down all the points we would discuss with our investors.” Alexander
