REID’S POV

The following day, I went to ask Charlotte to treat Aliyah’s wounds in our bedroom. She tried to talk to her and had inquired about the things her family and Samarra did to her, but Aliyah was not in the mood to answer her. During the entire time of aiding her wounds and putting on gauze over her legs that were bitten, she was quiet. Her eyes were only glancing over at the flowers that were displayed on the balcony. It was like her outlet that made her breathe.
