Chapter 50

When Sasha and I arrived home that evening after walking around all day, we put up an act pretending to be at odds. And just as expected Gina appeared to be loving the show meanwhile I was almost dying from laughter on the inside. Oh, how easy it was to fool her.

At least I was thankful that I had a friend now, some one to confide in. Ever since that day I haven't set my eyes on Ruth. I suddenly remembered that I had purchased a car that day, along with my belongings that were forgotten. I knew I would have to go back for them sooner or later, but first I must prepare my mind.

I walked into the room with a yawn but was however forced to pause mid air upon finding Cameron sprawled across the bed. He eyed me distastefully before proceeding to question my whereabouts, "where have you been?" In that deep husky tone that let me know he's about to snap.

I was at the verge of panic until it hit me that he was present this morning when Gina asked me to show Sasha around.
