Thin Line

Cheyenne awoke this time to the sun glaring in Nick's room making her headache seem 100 times worse. She rolled over finding the bed void of Nick but her cell phone in his place. Reaching out she saw she had a missed text from him so she opened it wondering if the feeling in her stomach would ever go away.

Nick had written, "took Tate fishing. He wants to stay another night but I doubt his mom will let him. I have water and some more medicine on the nightstand. Try to get up and eat some toast or some crackers, nothing heavy. Don't leave, I need to talk to you. And I kind of have your keys so you can't leave."

Cheyenne rolled back over seeing the bottle of water and an Excedrin bottle. Sitting up she took the top off and swallowed two pills before sending him a text back. "That was kind of a bitch move. If you are only going to give me reasons why this will never work I'll save you the trouble and walk home."

Nick responded faster than she had thought he would,
