I TRUST YOU

Ian stood in front of the door, waiting until Helium drove away.

He heaved a sigh of relief, afterward. His phone had been ringing non-stop, fortunately for him, it was on silent mode, but he knew because of the beeping. Each time the phone beeped, he was scared to look at the screen, fearing it might be the officer calling him.

Now that Helium had left, he took out his phone and stared at the screen. He was surprised to see that his father was the one calling him. Hesitating for a while, he wanted to pick up the call, but eventually changed his mind and ended it. It wasn't a good idea for him to speak, as both the woman and the little girl masquerading as his baby mama and daughter could not really be on his side.

He couldn't trust anybody except Jack, as he knew that the latter so badly wanted to bring Helium down. He turned around and began walking to the road so he could get a cab to take him back to his hotel.

At this point, Jack drove a car and pulled up right in front of him.
