Chap 93

Dante's POV

Allison could not have chosen the worst time to have walked into my study. She hesitated on the doorstep and the expression on her face changed to alarm as soon as she caught sight of our faces. I got on my feet at once. A part of me hoped that she had not noticed anything. Perhaps she was having another episode of nausea.

"Allison," I said. "What is wrong? Are you okay?"

She glanced at me suspiciously but did not answer. I turned to Maddox and Lucius.

"No matter how she asks, no matter what she says, do not say a word to her about what we have been discussing," I told them through a mind link. "Not a word, you understand?"

Lucius and Maddox nodded briefly. Allison seemed to notice the exchange. Her eyes narrowed. She stepped forward, pulling a chair along. She placed it directly in front of my desk as Lucius and Maddox bowed and made room for her

She looked at each of us in turn and said, "Alright, you three. Spill."

Lucius and Maddox looked down at the desk, ref
