Farewell without anyone to send off...

Eva sat staring at the disappearing back of the heartless man who had used and thrown her away. It had always been she, who was arrogant; she who used and discarded people… he was the first… and to think that it was just a worthless fool who was serving besides Chris…. She had stooped so low… how unbearable!

Eva sat on her prison bed as she unfolded the envelope and carefully took out the letter that was a few stacks of paper. A wry smile hung on her face as she saw the handwriting; she knew the owner of the writing. She had a faint glimmer of hope that I12 had finally found his conscience and had written the things he couldn’t tell her due to being monitored.

Looks like her charm wasn’t that great after all… she couldn’t even capture the heart of a shadow guard; did she overestimate her charm when she thought of capturing the second young master of the Walters? Twenty years should have taught her that but she still couldn't comprehend this.
