Although the expression of Adrian and Marcus attracted the attention of all the Walters, none of them were brave enough to touch the tiger’s whiskers. They just stood ready to support if and when they were needed. However, Elizabeth didn’t have the discernment of the other Walters, she strode towards Neil with a haughty expression and took the papers out of Neil’s hands impolitely.

Neil could have stopped her. He wasn’t weak nor was he gentle and polished like most doctors; he, Adrian and Chris were like peas in a pod. But he let her take the paperwork; it wasn’t out of respect or fear of her ‘Senior Mrs Walter’ title like she thought nor because of her status as Chris’s mother…. Heh! Why would he respect the mother that Chris himself wanted to kill right now?

The only reason for his indulgence was because he wanted to see what expression she would have once she realized the outcome of all her scheming. He was not an idiot. He had seen the results of Chris’s investigation and also he
