27. Don't be hypocritical

His argument last night with Dimas was still clearly recorded in Keenan's memory. This morning, the cold man gasped when he didn't see his usual wife still lying on the sofa. His eyes blinked quickly to look at the wall clock. The shorthand still pointed to five, where did Lily go?

Yes. Last night she chose to go to bed first because she was still upset by Dimas' accusations. He denied that he had fallen for Lily. Now he was distraught when he couldn't find her in the room or the kitchen.

"Sir? What's wrong?"

The voice just now certainly surprised Keenan. How could it not? A security guard with a sarong on his head had reprimanded him this early. He chuckled in annoyance.

"Why are you here?" Keenan asked back with an unhappy look.

The man with the thick mustache grimaced softly. "Sorry, sir. I accidentally saw you pacing more than twice from the living room to the kitchen. I thought -"

"Never mind, go back to your place!" cut Keenan off quickl
