"Sorry." His voice sent lightening down my spine and struck me stiff. I never talked to anyone except Damon and u wasn't the type that enjoyed making new friends.
He towered over me and blocked the sun from making contact with my skin. He sallied forth and stretched out his hand to me, but I stiffened. I wasn't used to touching other people.
"C'mon," he said. "Let me help you up."
He pulled me up and I noticed he was wearing the same tank top with me, but the color was Ash.
