Mystery box

My body was sore, and my back felt like it's been carrying the world's weight. I can barely move without feeling a sharp pain shooting through my spine. I woke up lying on the stiff floor. The room was dark and cold, with the only light coming from a crack in the curtains. I struggled to remember how I ended up there, my mind foggy and disoriented.

As I raise my eyes inside my room, the bright colours and festive wrappers in the corner of my room are open and dumped, with blood scattered on the floor.

Where did the blood come from? I checked every part of my body as I saw my hands dried out of blood. What happened last night? The memories of the previous night were a blur, and panic started to set in as I tried to piece together what had transpired. The sight of blood on my hands only added to the growing sense of unease and fear.
