"I have a Bloodstone ring here that you can have." Daphne headed to the wooden table on the wall and pulled open the drawer. She looked around for a bit and pulled out a long, slender box, closed the drawer, and brought it to the table.

"That's very nice of you to give it to her, but we'll pay you for the ring," Elias said.

A smile lit Daphne's lips. "No, thank you. That won't be necessary. But I would suggest making Bloodstone rings for the whole pack. Anyone who wears one will be protected."

"Sounds good," Xander replied. "Just let us know where to get them, and we'll take care of it."

Daphne sighed. "Since we'll need so many rings, they'll have to be specially made. No one has that many Bloodstones handy, let alone already set in rings. But we can talk about that later. Right now, let's get this spelled and on her finger before her kidnapper comes back."
