Chapter 27.

"Arggh!" I rose up from bed reluctantly to an heavy headache. I clutched my head tightly and slipped my hand into my hair. I screwed up my eyes to the bright sunlight that reflected through the drapery.

"You drank so much yesterday."

I turned to the direction the voice came through. My eyes widened up just immediately. I gazed at him in awe as he sat on the cushion with a glass of water in his hand. I looked away for a few seconds and looked back to check if I was only dreaming. A smile fell down from my lips at the confirmation of my visibility.

"Ar–"

"Don't even call out my name Monica," he cut me off shortly. "Why did you need to drink so much at the party?"

"Noo, I –"

"No? No! I told you I will be back just yesterday from my traveling, which you insisted I needed to finish up whatever task I had  in Singapore before coming back home. I agreed, then I arrived at the house after a long good  week spent at the hotel alone. I was expecti
