"Are you saying they won't be showing up?"

"I hope they do. Mum is really angry at me for the first time. She isn't even speaking to me." I bent my head on the desk in the science class.

Lina rubbed my hair down to my back. "I guess I am the cause of the tension going on in your family."

I got up reluctantly. My eyes settled on the white clean board in the little classroom. "It is bound to happen," I stared at her with a smile plastered on my lips. "It is not your fault."

"And Brad? Have you– have you seen him today?"

"And why? Why are you asking? Why must I see him?" My voice came out louder than before.

"I– I am just asking, it is nothing." She hummed.

"Don't even think of it. That move made me hate him the more, I can't even stand him right now. All I am worried about is my parents' and the freedom of all students'."

She hollered at me as I walked out of the classroom, down to the corridor.
