Chapter 66.

The bruises on her face just became visible as I came closer to her on the bed. The red marks on her brown skin colour and stripped of plaster glued on her cheek. 

Its being 30 minutes with the classmates in Ai's  ward and she didn't blinked an eye open. Her lips parted, wagged her head to the right,  left. Then I knew the same reaction wanted to occur.

"Ai! Ai!" I quickly patted her awake, then her eyes widened up. She looked down to the same direction she could have imagined there was someone. She looked back at me, then to everyone in the room.

"Ai!" They all exclaimed.

She made an eye contact to them once again, down to her plastered hand administered with fluid. Her eyes crawled around the room. She must have detected just the empty ward with boxes of trolleys placed on each other beside her bed. The ceiling fan rolled in motion. She raised the hand once more and dropped it back weakly on the bed
