Huangli Island was actually a miniature island with a large area. Although islands with a radius of about three miles were generally called miniature islands, Huangli Island couldn't be counted as one of them.

Huangli Island had a radius of more than six miles. In its center, there was a slightly towering hillside covered by a lush grove. Two small rivers rose in the hillside, one flowing northeast to the sea and the other flowing southeast to the sea.

The hillside was surrounded by relatively flat land. The soil there was fertile. The land there was the food planting area for ordinary people on the island. Especially in the east of the island, the land between the two rivers was the flattest. Because of sufficient water, a large number of farmlands had been opened up there.
