Rowan was furious and wanted to start screaming at Fane, but he could not even begin to find the right words. After all, everyone else seemed to believe Fane even though he genuinely wanted to fight back.

Right at that moment, a firm hand fell on his shoulder, patting it gently. Rowan turned to see Percy with a cold look on his face. Percy's eyes were fixed on Fane as if he was trying to see something.

Fane looked back calmly. Their gazes met with a murderous aura in the air. Ever since their conflict started, Percy acted as though all was fine and that Fane was not worth his notice at all, but he could no longer keep up the act.

He took a deep breath and said aloofly, "In so many years, very few have thoroughly angered me. You're the first and probably the last. I don't know how you're this bold to go against us like this, but whatever it is, it won't change your fate."
