The most beautiful wolf I had ever seen
Kael
Wind raised his muzzle skyward and howled. The knees of those close to us buckled. My wolf's strength had doubled. I could feel the enormous power going through every cell in my body. At that moment, my mate's body began to transform. Her clothing cracked, and her bones began to shape in other forms. Fur the colour of the moon began to cover her surface. And finally, the most beautiful wolf that my eyes had admired was in front of me.
She was small, but strong at the same time. Wind and I feel her power. My mate bowed her head in submission, and Wind howled again. His scream of triumph echoed in every corner of the place. Wasting no more time, he trotted over to her. He circled her, tattooing all of her in our memory. His Snout tasted the smell of our mate. She dropped to the floor, rolling, her belly exposed to my eyes. My mate was giving herself to us. Wind moved closer to her until he reached her neck. He sniffed her and licked her several times in the same spot. And without giving notice, he took the skin between his canines, squeezing hard. My mate let out a groan of pain. She began to shake her head, trying to break free from Wind's jaws. But he did not allow it. My wolf put a paw on my mate's chest, preventing her from moving. Wind never released his bite. The skin of our mate was pierced with Wind's fangs. Wind was marking her.
My mate stood still, obeying his new Alpha and mate. Wind released her and wiped the blood away with his tongue. My mate was panting. At that moment, one of her friends approached, trying to help her. It was the boy wolf, in human form. Wind seeing him showed his teeth and growled fiercely. The wolf fell to his knees, exposing his neck. My mate was still lying on the floor. She would not move from there until her Alpha gave her permission. Contemplating all this, from my position, I couldn't believe it. We just marked our Mate. And neither she nor I could do anything to stop this. Now, what am I going to do? Only one thing was very clear in my head, I was not going to leave my mate for anything. She was already ours, and no human or wolf was going to stop me. The law of the wolves so establishes it. She was for me, as I was for her.
Going back to the present, where will my mate be? She told me she had something to do early in the morning. It's already nine, and I haven't heard from her. Once I had finished my to-dos for the day, I grabbed the TV remote and turned it on. All that paperwork stunned me. And a good TV show would relax me. Midway through the show, I felt like oxygen was being sucked out of my lungs. I bend forward, grabbing my stomach. Wind began to howl within me. His howls were desperate and full of pain. My head began to spin. Something was very wrong. I felt like my chest was bleeding, something in there had been ripped away, leaving the place empty.
I fell to my knees on the floor, holding my head. “No, No. Brid.” That was my last thought before collapsing unconscious on the ground.
***************
“Alpha, Alpha, wake up, wake up.” What's that? I hear voices in the distance. Charly? Yes, I think it's him. I heard how the door opened with a bang, “Conrad, it's good that you arrived. I found the Alpha lying on the floor. What do we do?” I heard footsteps approaching me. And then I felt someone shaking my shoulder calling my name.
“Kael, wake up, what happened to you? Kael, Kael.” That's Conrad. I could identify his voice even if I were deaf. “Did you call the doctor, Charly?”
“Yes, beta, he said he was on his way. I don't think it will take too long, now.”
“Come on, help me to move him to the couch,” Conrad said.
Charly and Conrad put me on the sofa, but I still couldn't open my eyes. Something kept them closed. It is as if Wind has closed completely to me. Withdrawn to the confines of my mind. I heard the door again, and this time it was the doctor. “Doctor, I found Alpha lying on the floor. I do not know what happened.”
“Don't worry boy, I'm here, and I assure you that the Alpha will recover in one more second. I guarantee it.” The doctor started checking me, I could feel his hands everywhere. After a few minutes, the doctor stopped and asked, “Where is Luna?” Mate, I want to see her. Where is Brid? Wind, where you are? I need you. We need to find Brid. Something is wrong with her. I can feel it. Wind, Wind.
“I don't know, doctor. And your Conrad? Did Alpha tell you something about Luna?”
“No, Alpha didn't mention anything to me about Luna. We only talked about matters related to the pack”" Conrad expressed concern in his voice.
“You need to find her right away. The Alpha is exhibiting the usual symptoms of losing his mate.”
Hearing those words, Wind rises violently from within me. I opened my mouth and let out a shuddering scream. This was to call my mate. Wind was demanding her presence. “Easy, Alpha, easy. We will take care of finding Luna. I swear we will find her wherever she is.” I heard Conrad say. But Wind didn't understand any of this. My body began to transform. Those around me were trying to contain me and prevent my transformation. Until I felt a cold liquid run through my veins. My body began to change to human again, and my thoughts calmed down until I knew nothing more about me.
I have to find my way out Brid After hours of wandering aimlessly, I sat on a large rock. I had to catch my breath. Then, I looked at my feet, and they were bleeding. My human skin was not made for this. And unfortunately, Leaf still did not give me any sign. If I had transformed myself by now, I would be about to reach my pack's territory. And without mentioning that my human nose is far behind Leaf's. I couldn't identify the smells, that's why I'm so lost. I don't know which direction will take me home now. After several minutes of sitting on that rock. My mind and body had relaxed, that's when a sound caught my attention. “Water, it is water.” I got up and walked to where the sound of the vital liquid was running. A few meters ahead, I found what I was looking for. A beautiful waterfall with fresh and pure water. “YEA. Finally, some good luck.” I went to the bank of the river and bent down, taking with my hands some good sips. Fresh and sweet water. My throat was sore and dry, an
I need to know the truth Kael I woke up with a terrible headache. Turning around, I realized that I was in my room. I leaned on my elbows trying to sit up. My head immediately spun. What is happening to me? Once the dizziness passed, I kept thinking about everything that happened. "Brid" Where is my mate? Wind, Wind. My wolf did not answer me. This is terrible, something bad must have happened to Brid. My wolf wouldn't react so badly if it wasn't for something to worry about. I closed my eyes and focused on Wind. After a while of looking everywhere for him, I finally found him. He was pacing back and forth, frantically. From where he stood, it was clear that he was anxious and worried. "Wind, listen to me. Help me find Leaf. Try to contact her, she will tell us what is happening."
I need more food Brid "This bread is very good." I thought out loud as I stuffed large pieces into my mouth. I was so hungry, that nothing mattered right now. My stomach was demanding sustenance from me, and I had to do something. Fortunately, between the clothes, I steal. The hunters had kept a treasure in their pockets. Meal. I was able to find chocolate bars, bread, and a few bags of peanuts and walnuts. This was my lucky day. I already had clothes, and now food. The next thing was to find the way out of this forest and get home. That same day, I was exploring my surroundings. I was trying to find a hill or mountain that could give me clarity of where I was. I also took the opportunity to look for food. Without my wolf, I was useless. In the pockets
I can't believe it Kael After everyone left, I sat on the bed and contemplated what to do. The camera that Fatima brought was lying on the floor near the bed. I picked it up and turned it on. I didn't want to see those painful images ever again in my life. But I had to. I got out of bed and went to my closet to get clean clothes. I needed to move now. After taking a really quick bath, I grabbed the camera and headed to my office. I connected the device to the computer and began to d******d the images one by one. Now, they were all in front of me. Showing my mate in the arms of another. My stomach churned. So I closed my eyes to relax and let the disgusting feeling pass. Meanwhile, I remember the first time I heard Brid's voice after Wind had marked her. It appeared in my mind out of nowhere.
Find her Kael It was already the next day, and I hadn't left my office all night. It was impossible for me to take my eyes off those photos. Memorize and record in my brain every little detail. Still, there were things I had to know. Despite being up all night, I was not tired. I had to solve this issue that was getting out of hand. And for this, I need the help of the best trackers in the pack. “Conrad, come to my office with five of the best trackers we have. And also bring Fatima with you, do not delay." "Alpha, good morning, I'll do it right away." I leaned against the back of my chair and sighed. I have to get to the bottom of all this. Furthermore, I cannot continue out of control. I
How much more will it take to get home? Brid I was still lost, it was obvious. I had no idea where I was going. Not only that, but I have never been to this place, or known what is here. There is nothing that can guide me to know if I am going in the right direction or not. I want to cry. The frustration was killing me. I had to go to a high place, just that way, it would give me an idea of where I was. I turned to see the plastic bag in my hands. The remains of the roasted rabbit will last me another day. And I knew that catching it had only been a stroke of luck. Worms weren't an option. The only thing I could do was find my way out of here. If I was lucky, I would find a village. I was sure that someone there could help me. But the difficult thing was to find it. The path I was on was full of
Your absence hurts Kael It's been a week since Brid disappeared. Wind and I are very bad. He needs his mate and I need mine. Or at least know that they are okay. I have so many things in my head that I am not thinking rationally. The love of my life was accused of treason. And I don't know what to believe. The photos say it all, but there is something that does not add up. Or is it the desire to find something to justify her behaviour? Brid, why can't I feel you? What happened so that our unbreakable connection no longer exists? Why Brid, why? I gave you and shared everything with you. You lacked nothing. You had all the love a man could offer. I would die for you, my love. "WHY?" I screamed, hitting the desk with my fist. I have thought and tried to remember a time when she was not satisfied with
Keep looking Kael "Alpha, the boys and I headed immediately to the south side. And specifically next to the fruit trees where Fatima told us everything happened." Matthew pointed his finger to the south side of the forest and returned his gaze to me again. “We did not find anything, no footprints, traces, or essences. Neither Luna, Toni nor Fátima have been there recently." Chills ran through my body. Now more than ever I needed to find Brid. “Alpha, maybe Fatima got everything mixed up. Your presence is intimidating and for a wolf, even more so. " Conrad intervened. “Yes, I know, even so, it's hard to believe that she was wrong about something so obvious and fundamental. What else did they find out? " I turned to see everyone anxious. This was the fir
