Chapter 29 Joshua

Third person's POV

As they pulled up in front of the hospital, Jameson's mate pulled back and looked at him.

"Home.... I.... W-want, h-home."

Joshua said so quietly. Jameson's stomach dropped. He wasn't sure if he meant his house, or if he had a home prior to being locked up at his old Alphas.

Joshua's quiet speech wasn't good and he knew it. Unsure of how else to say what he wanted, he turned back to his mate.

Letting go with his right hand then bringing it to his mates chest.

With his hand against Jameson's chest, he said,

"home." His voice breaking as he said it.

Jameson instantly knew what he was trying to say. Relief washed over him. He caressed his mates cheek with his thumb.

"Mitch, can you take us home."

Jameson said without looking his way. He sensed Mitch and Daniel shifting in their seat, obviously looking back at them. A moment later he sensed them shifting again, as they turned forward.

Without another word, Mitch put the car in drive.

They should have went to the hospital. I get it should to be romantic, but it is actually the opposite. He is beaten, starved, dehydrated and forced, he heeds the hospital, not romantic nap.
