Chapter 80 Noah

July, 9 Months later.

Noah's POV

My heart pounds as I race out the front door and take off towards the tree line. I feel my heart pounding against my ribs, my lungs begin to burn as I weave through the trees. I shriek when I hear his loud and scary growl, letting me know he's right behind me.

I try to go as fast as I can but I'm just not fast enough. Unfortunately I take a wrong turn and my eyes go wide as I begin to fall down the steep hill. I feel my body hit the ground and I see a large boulder quickly approaching as I roll down the hill. I clench and brace for the impact but feel fur quickly engulf me as I go flying in the opposite direction.

Almost immediately I hear the cracking of bones before a naked body picks me up.

"Damn it you little shit!"

An angry Marcus says as he sets me down and begins frantically checking me over to make sure I'm okay.

"Goddess you little shit, you gave me a heart attack! You need to be more careful and watch where you're going!"
