The visit was over and a bunch of people sat in the living room. The old classmate's bragging made Lydia’s smile shiver, but the Sue family's expression was very unclear.

I was really looking forward to the big reveal, and this stupid lie just spoilt it. I'm starting to find this book a little annoying it keeps going this way and I'll stop reading it.
