As he cleared the shoes aside, Madison saw a greenish glow come from the tile board underneath. “This is so weird,” Madison said. He then noticed that the tiles were loose and started moving them out of the way. Soon he saw the same stone case that plagued him in his mind. He lifted the case out of the compartment and dusted it off.

“Really? The thing’s locked,” Madison said, as he tried to open the case.

“Madison?” Lawrence’s voice came from downstairs. “I’m home. The nurse called me today and said that you were sick.”

“Oh, crap,” Madison said, as he rushed out of Lawrence’s room. He had made his way to his own room, where he had taken the case with him and hid it under his bed.

“Madison, are you up there?” Lawrence said, as she started to climb the stairs.

“Yeah, I’m in my room,” Madison said. “Dang it, why did I say that?&rdquo
