Madison was sitting in Ms Philip’s office when she regained her consciousness. June and Meredith were seated next to her.

“What happened? I thought…” Madison tried to speak.

“Well, the three of you just came back from the parabola. The good news is that you have passed the test. You are now ready to be trained as detectives,” Ms Philip said in her calm, unconcerned tone.

“I don’t understand,” Victoria said.

“The Archfiend Monster project was a test to see if the three of you have potential and if you could work together as a team. Of course, we will not put you up against a real monster, Would we?” Ms Philip said in her icy tone.

The three of them looked at her in disbelief. Minutes later they stepped into the hallway smiling.

“Rule number 7:  Do everything in your power to save you and your friends,” Victoria took the paper from Meredith and read aloud.
