"Where's Cole?" I asked my mom.

"I don't know, he's probably out somewhere." She said before turning to face me. "So how was school?" She asked me.

"As usual," I replied shortly.

"Nothing interesting happened?" My mom asked and I frowned before shaking my head.

"No, it was kinda boring." I lied through my teeth.

"And skipping class? How was that?" She asked and my eyes widened.

"How did you even--"

"Your homeroom teacher called me, she said you never showed up for school." My mom said and my heart started pounding faster in my chest.

"Mom you wouldn't understand," I whined.

"Oh, I understand. You didn't feel like going to school so you decided to just skip. That's not how things work. If you skip class one more time-- this is so out of character for you Olivia. I swear to God Liv--"

"Fine Mom I won't skip class again," I said and she sighed before glaring at me.

"Were you with Storm?" She asked angrily.

"No. I was with my friends." I said the last part softly.

"Your friends?
