Thirty Eight

It was about midnight before Cameron parked his car in front of his house and got out the key. He had told his driver to go home without him when he realized he would be taking long more than necessary. He was a family man that had to go home to his wife and kids.

Not everyone should work like he does, burying himself into work and doing it as if his life depended on it. Actually, more than his life depended on how well he succeeded and how much he made, because of the employees that worked for him, with families of their own they had to take care of. So, basically, a whole lot of lives depended on it all.

Sighing, he bite his lower lip and got out of the car, and walked around to the other side. He realized that everywhere in the neighborhood was quiet, and his house looked sleeping as well.

He had told Ruby he would be back late so he knew everyone would have gone to bed. He grabbed his bag out of the passenger's seat and closed the door, locking it, before proceeding to go into
