The unity between us

Charlotte's POV

We pulled up at night on a grass field, and I could spot a bungalow in a small wood close to the sea, with a boat anchored in the water.

The stars glittered in the sky, and the trees in the water reflected, their movements resembling a dance.

Tall woods reached high into the sky, appearing to reflect in the sky and surrounding the bungalow. The big moon shining in the sky was almost full, creating a breathtaking sight. I wondered if the moon would become a full moon.

I leaned on the window, staring outside the car, and then I heard Alex speaking, so I returned my attention to him.

"We live in a villa, that's why I decided we should spend the night here. What do you think?"

"That's thoughtful of you," I replied and unbuckled my seat belt, wanting to leave the car, but he held me back.

"Alexander?" I called cautiously because he just held me and wasn't saying anything, he was just staring at me.
