“I said sir this girl must be hiding something from us and still I think it's not all that straight.”

“We are being overly cautious. What you are saying may be true.” They were sitting in the meeting room trying to understand the whole situation. Anna shocked them at once to confuse them.

“I still think Anna is lying about not having a relationship with Adam. In fact that can't happen."

"Why not‍ Mark?”

"John told Adam he was not a man, so how is that possible?"

“John can lie, Mark?"

“No he wasn't lying. He liked Anna and if Adam wasn't transgender why would he let Anna belong to him?”

“I think Anna had a relationship with John not Adam and then Anna killed him and now she is making up this whole dirty story just to save herself.” Mark had raced the horses of his mind making it difficult if not impossible to believe Anna.

“You may be right, Mark, but we have no way of cross-checking this.” The senior officer was trying to explain to Mark who was sitting with his hands on his forehead
