The short one even brought out a guitar, played few strings and sang a little. Something which had made all attention focused on them. The boys were so care free and full of life. Something which had made O'Connell stare at them more than he had intended to.

It felt like their presence brought this aura that lightened up everywhere. Everyone had smiles on their faces. Teenage girls were gigging, with their blushes crepting up to their necks, making them completely red.

O'Connell shook his head and smiled a little. 

He felt quite lonely, though. Everyone seem to be with someone. From kids with their parents, teenage girls together, young and old couples. It was just him alone on his table. He blew out a big puff of breath, suddenly missing the company of Jeremy. He so much wished Jeremy was there with him, so he could feel less lonely.
