4. First Day of Office Become worse day

The clock's hands were exactly at 8 o'clock. And Jessica was rushing to get ready for her first day of office. She didn't want to be late and offended her new Boss on her first day so she woke up early in the morning. Actually, she couldn't sleep for the whole night thinking about her first day of office. She knew that if he finds any fault in her then he will not give it a second thought before firing her. And this thought didn't let her sleep for the whole night. She kept checking the time, now and then. And when her alarm rang at 7 o'clock she woke up with a jolt and got freshened up then had a little breakfast.

Before leaving she cross-checked everything in her bag. Then glanced at her reflection in the mirror for the last time to make sure she looked like a professional employee. She smiled at her reflection and slid her bag onto her shoulder and grabbed her bike key then rushed outside.

She mounted her bike and in 40 minutes she reached in front of the Royal Fashion, her new office. She parked her bike in the parking lot and marched to the entrance but before she entered, she noticed someone near the office area, sitting on a wooden bench.

Her lips curved into a bright smile and she approached the lady sitting on the bench.

"Good morning Grandma." Jessica greeted her in a jolly way.

That old lady snapped her head at her and flashed a wide smile at her.

"Good morning Dear."

"What are you doing here?" Jessica asked her and she smiled.

"Chilling out." Jessica laughed a little hearing her.

"You are so full of life. I'm delighted that God made me meet you. Offo, I forgot to tell you." She smacked her forehead in a childish way.

"What you said yesterday has come true.  And I have also got a job here." Jessica said while ear to ear grinning.

The old lady smiled, "May God bless you my child, and your all wishes come true." The old lady gave Jessica her blessing while keeping her hand on Jessica's head.

"Do you wanna pick a card today?" The Grandma asked her and she thought for a moment while looking up in a thinking gesture.

"Okay, I do wanna." Jessica chirped excitedly. And seeing her excitement Grandma chuckled.

Then Grandma held her cards in front of Jessica and Jessica looked at them keenly before choosing one for her. She picked one card and gave it to Grandma.

When Grandma looked at it her facial expressions morphed from a happy to a worried one. Seeing her expression Jessica's face became pale.

"What happened, Grandma? Why are you looking so tense?" Jessica asked her and Grandma let out a long sigh.

"It will be a tough day for you. Be careful." Grandma said to her while cupping her face from one side. Jessica gave her a small fake smile.

"I'm aware of this already, Grandma. Don't worry. I'm gonna work for the dangerous red bull Aka Mr. Arrogant Monkey. So it's obvious that my day will be tough." Jessica said, rolling her eyes.

"By the way, I'm Jessie. I'm not afraid of anyone. I'm capable of handling this type of matter." Jessica said with style flipping her high ponytail that was on her shoulder.

"It's not new to me. I'm used to this situation. Because my life was never easy." Jessica said and Grandma smiled at her.

"May God protect you from the evil eyes. And may God shower all the happiness of this world in your life." Grandma blessed her wholeheartedly and Jessica smiled.

"Now I have to take my leave, Grandma. Or else I'll be in great trouble." Saying that Jessica fled from there after waving her hand to her.

Jessica entered the office using her staff ID card. When she reached the elevator she saw Ivan's ex PA present in the elevator. Jessica waved her hand gleefully and walked in.

"Good Morning, Lavanya." Jessica greeted her and she greeted her back with a smile.

"So you are on time. I'm impressed." Lavanya praised her and Jessica felt her heart puffed up in pride from inside.

"I didn't want to spoil my reputation on the very first day of my office so that's why I woke up early in the morning," Jessica said with a grin on her face.

Soon they both reach their floor. Lavanya assisted Jessica and showed her new desk which was just in front of his cabin. Jessica made a crying face thinking that she will be working near the lion's den. Only a wall was between them to separate them.

"Here's your desk and please keep it clean. Because Boss doesn't like messy things." Jessica nodded her head in an understanding way.

"I have added you to our group. His driver will inform you if he comes early to the office or comes late. And here's today's schedule. I have made it for you today but from tomorrow you have to make it yourself." Lavanya handed her the iPad and Jessica had a look at it.

"I'll show you the cafeteria. It's below our floor. In one matter I can't help you. And the matter is his taste. His taste changes faster than the climate. If he said he wanted to have coffee he would say he had asked for tea, not coffee. If you serve him tea then he will say it's not good, very hot, turned cold. He wants cold tea, he wants hot tea, he wants green tea, he wants cold coffee, he wants Americano. I never satisfied him with his drinks or any food." When Lavanya finished Jessica smiled with a crying face. She was confused about whether she should laugh or cry.

"I got it." Jessica forced a smile on her face and sat in her place.

"I'll make a move then. If there's any problem let me know. I'm always there for you. But only for today and tomorrow then I'll be free from this hell." Throwing up her hand in the air Lavanya exclaimed dramatically and Jessica laughed at her frustration.

Jessica was working on the computer and her desk was filled with tons of files. Suddenly her intercom rang and she picked it up.

"Miss. Walia, I want a cup of coffee," Ivan asked for coffee, and fear squeezed the air out of her lungs.

"Okay, then what do you want to have, black coffee, latte, cappuccino, Americano, or normal hot coffee and cold coffee?" She asked like a waitress at the coffee shop.

"Black coffee."

"Okay, I'll be there in a minute." Placing that intercom back in its place she ran to the down floor and made a black coffee in his personal coffee mug. Then she ran back into his cabin. As she was not used to wearing heels. It was getting difficult for her to run with the heels. But still, she managed to reach there as soon as possible.

She placed the coffee mug on his table from the tray and stayed there for him to taste it.

Without looking at the coffee mug he picked it up and took it near his lips.

"I asked you to bring me a cup of tea. Why did you bring me a coffee?" Ivan yelled at her and Jessica flinched a bit.

"But you…." Before she could say something Ivan showed her his palm so she shut her mouth.

"Go and bring me a cup of tea. Masala tea." Jessica nodded and left his cabin after picking up the coffee mug.

She ran to the down floor and made masala tea for him and placed it on his table. He took a sip from the cup and looked at her with a deadly gaze.

"It tastes bitter. Didn't you taste it before bringing it for me?"

"Then I'll make you another one." She stormed out with the cup. And came back with another one and he again said it was not good so she again went to make it properly.

She comes back with the cup with much difficulty. Because her new heel bruised the back of her ankle badly.

When she entered she found him talking on the phone call. So she thought to place the cup on his table.

"Damn you." Hearing his sudden roar Jessica jumped in fear and the teacup fell from her hand splitting the tea all over the table.

"What the hell?" Ivan burst into rage seeing the condition of his table.

"I…I'm sorry, Boss." She said in an apologetic tone.

"What will I do with your damn sorry? Can you make it like before? No right. You can't do one work properly. How can you be so careless? I'm regretting hiring you, now." He was roaring like a lion and Jessica was just standing there like a helpless kitten while looking down.

Tears were glistening in her eyes but she was holding them back not wanting to show her weak side in front of him.

"Now get lost from my sight. Don't show your face until I ask you." Ivan sat down on his chair and Jessica left the cabin with tear-filled eyes. In her life, she had gone through so many hardships but no one yelled at her like him. And she felt angry for her helplessness. If she wouldn't have needed this job then she would have thrown the tea on his face today.

On the other hand, Ivan smirked looking at the closed door from where Jessica just left. "It was just a trailer, Miss Walia. You have no idea what more is waiting for you. You dared to throw my money in my face. Huhh, I'll make every moment of yours memorable with the worst memory. I'll make you pay for insulting me.
