"How did you know all these things? I asked them in surprise.

"I heard it from Ethan," one of them answered.

"Aren't you scared of being dismissed? I asked about remembering Nick's dismal because of gossip among the employees.

"I'm not afraid to gossip with you," she answered.

I was shocked to hear her. She obviously thinks I'm some sort of royalty who gets special treatment from the boss.

"No one will dare gossip about you because you're being treated differently. It's safe to gossip with you"

I was so surprised at their conclusion but I couldn't argue.
