Ricardo Sanguin’s POV

By four in the afternoon everything was ready— the food, the drinks, the servants and the mansion. It finally looked like a home, a home with a thankful family. I stood in our lobby where the main staircase was lit with decorative lights and draped with all kinds of wild flowers and leaves. The chandelier glimmered above us.

"Everything looks perfect, doesn't it, Mr. Cole?"

"Sure does, Mrs. Cole."

"Dad called, he said mom forgot something at the hotel and Hudson went with her, but they'll be flying as soon as they come back."

"Well it wouldn't be you mom if she doesn't forget something."

"I know. Listen, you want to video call with your folks and Hannah? We can go to our room."

"Nah. They're okay. We talked yesterday they're in Positano."

"Well great. Now I envy them." she pouted jokingly.

"Hmm if your offer to go to our room is still on the table, I can assure you wouldn't want to be anywhere else, but beneath me."

"Hmmmm. Stop it, Gareth. We don't have time
