WORK. I’ve been doing so much of it lately that I may as well change my middle name to busy. It was good for business, but the truth was that it was just a distraction. It’s been more than a year since I last saw Nightingale. Months of endless searching yielded nothing. I even tried to use my few contacts in a different country to try and find a trace of her, but it was still the same result. She was nowhere in my city because I’ve basically combed through every street in one way or the other while searching for her. It was like she disappeared off the face of the earth.

The worst part of the whole situation was the fact that I never even got to find out what happened to her. Did she die of heartbreak after not finding her sister?
