To say I was terrified was an understatement of the century. But I guess it was a normal reaction when there’s a gun pointed at your head and an arm on your throat, slowly choking you.

“Ms Alisha, s.she…” I wheezed and the pressure of his arm on my neck reduced to allow me speak.

I took a deep breath before I continued speaking.

“She gave me a message to deliver to you.” I blurted out and stretched the paper in my hand out.

“Did you open it?” He asked as he looked at my outstretched hand but didn’t take the paper.

“She told me not to open it, to deliver it without looking at it, and I did as she instructed, I swear it.” I said and he huffed.

He took the paper from me and opened it right in front of me. When he turned the paper around to show me the ‘message’, I realised that Ms Alisha had sent me here to die. The paper was blank, there was nothing written on it, absolutely nothing.
