Sara got into the car whispering her thanks to Adrain under her breath as the door closed behind her. He had been ignoring since they left the villa. She wondered what was running through his mind and he seemed to be thinking so deeply about or if he was thinking about anything in the first place.

Adrain got into the car and told the driver to drive. The silence was intense and uncomfortable. Sara shifted in her seat restless and not at peace with his calmness. She opened her mouth to say something and shut it again.“How are your injuries? What did the doctor say?” she asked finally finding the courage to speak. Her question was met with silence and she sighed moving to the other side of the seat putting as much space between them as possible.

His silent only meant his brain was working on auto drive and it was never good because it meant he was either thinking about her punishment or something that wouldn’t be good for her. She leaned against the glass and shut her eyes drifting off
